I currently unemployed and my benefits have run out. I recently went and got on food stamps. I have no income whatsoever. A friend recently told me that if you are on food stamps and have no income at all that you also get a cash benefit on your EBT card. They did not tell me anything about this at the food stamp office. I do not have any children, she said this does not matter, there is a number to call. Does anyone know anything about this? I am desperate, I have about thirty cents in my pocket.
